His research interests focus mainly on child rearing and the transmission of values to children. During the last six years, Mr. Elkchirid worked with refugees, immigrants, victims of acts of racism and discrimination and worked also with a school based program offering counseling services to immigrant students who’ve lived or witnessed traumatic experiences and they’re families. Mr Elkchirid also worked with couples on the issues of domestic violence and violence against children and offered psychosocial evaluations to DYFS (New Jersey child protective services).
