I collaborate with my clients to find insight and alternative options, exploring a wide range of non directive and creative techniques, so they can rediscover their inner strength to build on their coping strategies and experience positive changes in a safe, non judgmental and confidential environment

Additional Information

From 1993-2002, I worked in India in forensic, mental health and special need settings. In 2002-2003, I studied and had placement opportunities in hospitals, long term care homes and special needs schools in London, UK. From 2004 to 2005, I worked at the Children Hospital Of Eastern Ontario in their Eating disorders impatient unit and at the Children’s Treatment Centre, preschool program. From 2005, I am based in Toronto and have worked in school settings, referral and drop in centre for women and in private practice facilitating psycho-educational workshops and projects. My primary focus has been immigrant women, survivors of domestic violence, teens suffering from Eating disorders and children with autism. I am expanding my expertise with the Zen-tai Wellness Centre as an independent counsellor and creative arts therapist from 2010. The Centre is conveniently located between the communities of Cabbage town, St.James town and The Village and is a 5 min walk from College TTC Station, overlooking Allen Gardens.
