As a Registered Psychologist and certified Life Coach, Maria engages clients in objective and supportive conversations about the isolating issues we face. She is passionate and committed to the health and wholeness of individuals, couples, families and communities. Many of life's challenges are realised during times of transition. Whether it’s due to new stages in relationships, family or career, or changes in health and/or lifestyle, these events have the ability to significantly impact one’s life. Often what results from these transitions are feelings of anxiety, stress, depression, loss and failed coping mechanisms. Maria’s therapeutic approach is based on the idea that through these transitions, people can find understanding, purpose, connection, meaning and hope. Maria supports clients in a safe, creative and confidential environment. Her goal is to see clients through their difficulties to emerge as stronger and more resilient individuals, empowered with strategies and the confidence to thrive through life’s changing circumstances. Additional Information Maria is able to conduct sessions in English and French, has experience working with new Canadians and can integrate a Christian perspective to counselling. All services are by appointment only. If you’d like to book an appointment, please feel free to call at 403-264-6886, extension 3. Due to sessions with other clients, Maria is usually unable to answer calls immediately. Leave a detailed message in her confidential voicemail and she will return your call as soon as possible. Please indicate in your message any sensitivities regarding when and where calls should be returned. All inquiries are, of course, strictly confidential. Please note that fees for psychological or counseling sessions are covered by most medical health plans and are also considered tax-deductible medical expenses.
