Anxiety is a normal human emotion which cues us to a state of heightened awareness. I study for an exam because I am anxious and I might fail. Anxiety becomes disordered when it paralyzes us in which case it becomes an anxiety disorder. Anxiety therapy can be helpful in these cases.
